Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. Her birthplace and childhood was in California, USA, she first began modeling in Italy. The first time she acted was the year 1996 when she was a part of 'Her Costly Affair,' the first TV film. From there to starring as a supporting character in the film "Starship Troopers", she struggled very hard. Amy struggled to make the shift from modeling to acting because models were often not considered actors. Models were usually assigned small, unimportant roles. But somehow, Amy decided to stay the course and stepped into bigger parts eventually. This began in the show 'The 1970's as well as the movie "Varsity Blues". In 2005, Amy took on the lead role in the romantic comedy film 'Just Friends'. Ryan Reynolds also played the role. Amy became famous for her efforts in the last decade.
