It was at Montreal Olympic Games 1976 that she had one of the greatest moment in the history of sports and that was the first-ever perfect 10, for the asymmetrical bar. Additionally, she scored six more 10s perfect and made her fourteen years young, the youngest Olympic medalist across all categories. Nadia Comaneci did not just attract attention from all over the world, she also brought Romania in the spotlight. The sporting icon made her a world-wide sensation after she came up with an unbeatable scoring. She created a legend as well as helped make gymnastics a popular sport across the world. The sport changed the way people view female athletes. Such was her impact at this Olympics that the uneven bars event is named for two of the moves after her, the toe-on as well as release, both of which have been classified as high-level degree.
